About The AFL Event Office

Australian Football League ("AFL") has licensed General Travel Group Pty Ltd and Travel and Sports Australia Pty Ltd as its exclusive travel provider for all Premiership Season travel programs. General Travel Group and Travel and Sports Australia have established a joint venture entity "Event Travel Holdings Pty Ltd" to manage this project on behalf of the AFL. In this capacity, Event Travel Holdings Pty Ltd is trading under licence from the AFL as AFL Event Office.

General Travel Group has vast experience and a track record second to none in managing group and individual travel movements for major sporting events. The company has been the official travel operator for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and Australian Motor Cycle Grand Prix since 1997 and recently managed all tourism services for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. Travel and Sports Australia is a Perth based specialist sports travel company and the AFL's largest tourism sector on-seller of Grand Final product.
